Futsal Academy

What is Futsal?

Futsal is the only “Official form of Indoor Soccer” as approved by the Federation Internationale de Football Association FIFA.  It is played in all the continents of the world by over 100 countries with 12 million players.  It is played with touchline boundaries.  There are no walls in play.  Great soccer superstars such as Pele, Zico and Socrates grew up playing the game and credit Futsal with developing their skills.  The sport is a great skill developer, demanding quick reflexes, fast thinking, pinpoint passing, and a four-second limit on all play restarts make it an exciting game for children.

SKILLS NIGHT!

The first session of each week (4 week program) will be a futsal skill development night. During this session, the players will be challenged in various exercises, which help develop foot skills, foot speed, and coordination. These sessions focus on developing superior soccer skills.

TOURNAMENT NIGHT!

The second session of the week is the tournament night. During this session, players use the skills they have developed from the previous training session in a fun and competitive tournament. This session provides an opportunity for players to use their newly acquired skills in a game-type environment. Prizes are given to the winning team. Each week players will be placed on different teams and play against other players of a similar age and ability.

Ages/Grade & Times (all sessions):
5-6 years old; K-1st grades: Monday & Wednesday from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
7-8 years old; 2nd – 3rd grades:  Monday & Wednesday from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
9- 12 years old; grades 4th- 5th: Monday & Wednesday from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

What to Wear:
Indoor flats or sneakers & Shin Guards

Level:
This program is designed for players that are serious about improving their soccer skills in a fun yet challenging environment.
